Implementing Remarketing Campaign through Adwords


1] Login to Adwords

2] In the “Campaigns” Tab click “Shared Library” located in small popup on the left hand side and click the “Audiences” in the same popup box

3] Click “Setup Remarketing” button

4] Get the code and place in the footer part of all the pages before </body> tag

Lists – Lists is an option you can target specific areas of website to target most relevant audiences. E.g in an online clothing store you need to target add for men’s cloths purchasers should be different from women’s cloths purchasers, you need to use new separate list to find the areas of that product

Creating Lists

1] GOTO Audience (from popup in left sidebar) -> New Audience -> Re-Marketing List here Select  “Define a list of site visitors based on the selection below” you can define the sites URL. Using the

Containing Options – If the URL is structured in the way that contain specific category e.g. in a shopping cart website men’s shirts containing pages URL should contain the word ‘Men’ in the URL and in women dress web pages should contain women in the URL, it is important to structure the URL based on the re-marketing add category, so that people visited to a specific page or specific category (based on URL) we can re-market related to visited page or category
By selecting Containing option you can enter ‘Women‘ so that you are targeting people who visited women related pages and the add going to be women related ads

Equals Option – here you need to enter the full URL including http:// . Here you are re-marketing ads for the people who visited this particular URL

Conditions –
By clicking “See more options” you can use AND or OR conditions
